Watches: The Swiss Company MB-Microtec ag has succeeded in manufacturing a self activated light source that is 100 times brighter than any previously available. The light-emitting devices, known as traser, require no battery power or any other form of charging, and never need servicing or maintenance. Wrist watch navigators are equipped with a tritium light source. These tiny airtight vials, sealed under high pressure, are resistant to water, oil and most corrosive materials.
